What is the Christian faith all about? We believe that it all comes down to relationship. God has called us into a relationship with Him through the cross of Christ. To know Christ is to know that God is loving, gracious and forgiving. "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" (2 Corinthians 5:17) So our first priority as the people of God is to know Christ. We gather for worship to hear God speak through His Word and the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord's Supper. We study God's Word in Bible Class or in small groups. It is our life endeavor to know Christ and what His life, death and resurrection mean for our lives.
Knowing Christ gives purpose to our lives. "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." (Galatians 2:20) What does Christ living in us mean? It means that we live in relationship with others as ambassadors of Christ. We live to make Christ known - to tell others about God's love through the cross of Christ. We invite you to come and get to know Christ as Savior and Lord of your life. We'd like to get to know you and to celebrate with you the new life that comes by God's gracious call to live in this new and exciting relationship!
